key words: election canada 2008 federal polling districts shapefile gis data layer results poll map

Since I can't find it, I'll try to make this a landing spot for people searching for the same thing as myself....
I'm looking for a shapefile which has Federal Electoral Districts broken into polling areas. I've found data of the 308 districts, but not broken into each polling area.
I've also found shapefiles of Provincial elections broken into polling areas, but nothing for the federal elections.

I've even contacted Geogratis and Elections Canada. I was told that "oh, you're right - we'll get that up shortly." This was months ago. I'm still waiting for data which I believe should be freely available to the tax paying Canadian - their electoral districts. If you're interested:
